‘Walking Dead’ Ahead: The Rise of Darth Smartypants
On this week’s episode of The Walking Dead, Eugene may have crossed over to the dark side to become… Darth Smartypants! Don’t make any hasty predictions about personality changes or haircuts just yet, we think that next week Eugene will — well, let’s ask the man himself what he’ll be up to next week, Me and Grimblygunk will be hanging out, playing Atari, eating pickles, and jamming out to “Easy Street,” Josh McDermitt, the man who portrays the titular Darth Smartypants. “Who knows? Maybe Eugene will finally get some lobster.”
Next episode looks like we’ll be back in Alexandria as Rick and Michonne go on a gun hunt for Jadis and her mysterious Trash People — sorry, they prefer to be called “Mysterious Garbage Folk.” And they’ll explore a new frontier for The Walking Dead: a zombie carnival! Ride the Scary-Go-Round, see the Amazing Decomposing Man, and try to eat a three-year-old rancid corndog!
If Rick gets Jadis on board, he’ll have a better shot at convincing King Ezekiel to join the fight against Negan. Who knows, maybe even Gregory will join the fray… or maybe they’d be better off without him.
Meanwhile, Rosita will argue that revenge is a dish best served now. RIGHT NOW! And not served cold and putrid, like a three-year-old corndog. We’ll see you and more Darth Smartypants next week on Walking Dead Ahead.
