In wake of bonkers 'Bachelor' finale, fans are sending drink money to the jilted Becca
This season of The Bachelor has proved to be a real whopper. Arie Luyendyk Jr., who apparently can’t make up his mind about anything, asked Becca Kufrin to marry him after he sent Lauren Burnham packing. But then, he had a bonkers change of heart, told Kufrin he couldn’t stop thinking about Burnham, and broke the engagement.
Fans of the show were rightfully shocked — after all, this is about the most emotionally wrecking thing one can do to a girl on live TV. And that shock quickly turned to anger.
And then, that anger turned into nothing short of girlfriend-power squad goals. Droves of fans began sending Kufrin money via Venmo to buy herself a drink (or in this case, a lot of drinks) and hopefully forget that classless loser.
I fully support everyone who is Venmo(ing) Becca for #thebachelor #dodgedabullet pic.twitter.com/Ma0t00wjXL

Becca deserves all the wine, and some damn tissues. Thank goodness for Venmo. #TheBachelor pic.twitter.com/nW1fYv00lv

The righteous rage viewers felt over the whole situation was turned into a triumphant gallery of social media high-fives.
I love the amount of people sending Becca money on Venmo telling her to treat herself to a drink. Hell ya

I don’t know about y’all, but Becca’s venmo account activity makes up for everything that happened last night.

There’s no word yet on what Kufrin thinks of all this generosity, but she’s probably got enough Venmo funds to throw a little “dodged a bullet” party for herself and her real-life besties.
Or she could use it for future liquid courage: The Bachelor finale is scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC, and Kufrin will reportedly have the chance to confront Luyendyk about his lousy behavior.
