Wait, Is It Possible That KFC's Merch Line Does Not Suck?
Clothing is one of the best ways to express yourself without saying a word. You can tell people you mean business by wearing a tailored suit. You can tell them you are chill and on-trend with cropped trousers and a camp collar shirt. Or, more importantly, you can tell everyone just how much you love fried chicken. How? With the new KFC merch, of course.
KFC isn't the first fast food chain to drop a line of clothes-McDonald's has done it on numerous occasions-but there's something about this KFC collection that's just kind of...not terrible. There are the whimsical socks (the easiest way to seamlessly wear KFC pride). There's a black pocket square, graphic T-shirts, and even some very on-trend pins to stick on your favorite denim jacket or backpack. If you'd rather stare at KFC than wear it, there's some wall art and a Colonel Sanders pillowcase (!).
The prices are pretty modest, too: Almost all of it comes in at less than $100. There's only one outlier, and it's the most excessive, expensive, unnecessary, and somehow beautiful thing we may have ever seen. It's a real meteorite (real like, from space real) that artists crafted to look like a Zinger chicken sandwich. It's $20,000. You're welcome.
