A kiss from a decade ago came back to haunt Tom Schwartz and Scheana Shay.

On Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner, 41, made a shocking confession to Lala Kent, saying, “I was a makeout slut. [I] made out with Scheana like 12 years ago in Vegas.”

When Lala, 33, asked when the makeout happened, he revealed that it was during “a rocky moment” when he was dating now-ex-wife Katie Maloney, who still didn’t know about the Vegas encounter.

Lala then took it upon herself to be the bearer of the bad news. After she revealed Schwartz’s secret, his shocked ex-wife said, “What the actual f---? Are you kidding me? I just have so many questions like when was this and where exactly was this and was this the time that Schwartz said he went to Vegas and made out with one of Scheana's friends and was it actually, in fact, Scheana.”

The Give Them Lala Beauty founder admitted it was a strategic choice to discuss it with Katie before Scheana, saying, “I went back and forth [on] whether I should talk to Scheana first or Katie first and I decided that I needed to talk to Katie first. I don't want to give Scheana time to figure out a way to make this a pretty picture.”

However, Katie, 37, didn’t mince words when she confronted Scheana, 38, about going behind her back with her then-boyfriend. Scheana then shared her side of the story and recalled that Schwartz was the one to initiate a kiss but “it was not a makeout.”

“Can I tell you who I was making out with on that trip? Ariana,” she added.

Scheana further detailed her decision to keep the kiss a secret for a decade, telling the cameras, “I wanted to pretend like this never happened. I never told [ex-husband Mike] Shay. I never told my mom. I never told my best friends. I mean, also I would never have told Katie especially back then because the bitch is scary… There’s no way in hell, I was going to be like, 'By the way, your man wanted me in Vegas and he kissed me.' Like, no, never.”

But, Katie saw the matter differently, sharing, “I would have expected something like this from Schwartz, but she has had literal years to tell me about this. I don't like liars and especially lying by omission. It just makes me wonder if I'll ever be able to really fully trust or be close with Scheana.”

She finally told Scheana, “I wish I would have known.”

The Something About Her co-owner later went to Schwartz and told them she felt hurt that she was kept “in the dark” about his kiss with Scheana.

However, Katie had her own secret which was revealed by Scheana’s husband Brock Davies. He told Schwartz that she had hooked up with “someone in your friend group,” who turned out to be TomTom’s manager and his best friend Max Boyens after a night of partying.

Schwartz was taken aback by the news and said the pairing had “all the telltale signs of a revenge bang.”

Elsewhere on Tuesday's episode, Tom Sandoval attempted to mend fences with Lala, explaining, “Lala and I, I don't know if you've really ever been that close, in a way it seems less about reconnecting and more about actually building something new.”

During a conversation after his breath work session — which he called an “emotional organism” — the pair discussed his headline-making affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, which ended his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix.

“Whatever went on with you and Ariana and whatever decisions that you made, do I approve of them? No. Do I understand them? No,” Lala told Sandoval.

She admitted that Scandoval was “a trigger” for her following the demise of her own relationship with Randall Emmett but admitted that she is working on herself, adding, “I’m trying to trust again. And I don't want you paying for my experience with someone else.”

Sandoval then reflected on his own life experiences.

“The way things have worked out in my life, I do feel like this was supposed to happen,” he said, seemingly referring to Scandoval. “And maybe like what you went through obviously was maybe was supposed to happen.”

“I've been held prisoner to my experience for way too long,” she responded. “You and what you did, that is not my fight. I now have to go into this is what I want. This is what I feel good about. And I did feel good about coming here and having this conversation with you and letting you know that this is good for me.”

He added, “[I] appreciate your vulnerability. I would like to become better friends with you and invest in that.”
