FRA's Logan Kinnard, Gallatin's Bailey Stewart named Tennessean athletes of the week

Franklin Road Academy's Logan Kinnard racked up more 7,000 votes while Gallatin's Bailey Stewart had more than 21,000 as the voting has ended with this week's Tennessean girls and boys athletes of the week.

Kinnard took the top boys honor with 7,526 total votes, 41% of the boys overall total 18,356. He beat out Lipscomb Academy pitcher, and Georgia Tech signee, Miller Green who finished second with 5,462 votes. Goodpasture's Logan Harrell finished third in the voting with 2,200 votes.

Kinnard was 6-for-7 at the plate with two doubles, five stolen bases, five RBIs in two wins last week against Providence Christian.

Stewart managed to capture 21,388 votes for 44.4% of the girls' total (48,124). She edged out Stewarts Creek's MeKenzie Watkins who had 14,370 votes for second place and Lipscomb Academy's Chloe Jones (5,724).

Stewart was 4-for-4 with a double and six RBIs in a game last week for the Green Wave.
