Rebecca and Greg (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend)
“This isn’t going to be like a roll in the hay … this is going to be like three days of you and me just ruining each other,” Greg told Rebecca before they fell into each other’s arms towards the end of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s first season. And boy, he wasn’t kidding. By the end of their nonstop sex spree, Rebecca had developed a UTI. You can’t call their relationship healthy, but it was pretty hot. —Ethan Alter

Javier and Letty (Good Behavior)
A nominee for Best New Couple of 2016, the duo shared a couple of smokin’ scenes early in the season — our favorite in Episode 2, when the hit man and thief role-play being a married couple celebrating their 10th anniversary. It’s playful and passionate, but the more we learn of their lonely backstories, the more we understand why, for these strangers, pretending to have someone they can count on, who’s stuck around and really knows them, would be different enough to be a turn-on. —Mandi Bierly

Alicia and Jason (The Good Wife)
It was so good, it made our list of 2016’s 30 Best TV Moments. Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Jason was a walking tease, so like Julianna Margulies’s Alicia, we were really ready for this to happen. When she only half-jokingly wondered if she’d developed a drinking problem, Jason took away her tequila bottle, asked her to close her eyes and listen to the sound of his breathing, and then kissed her. The firm’s lights turned off at 11 p.m., so the show was able to give us another of its signature cleverly shrouded sex scenes with the sound of zippers and buttons coming undone. Replacing tequila with trysts with Jason, Alicia? Well done. —MB

Jane and Michael (Jane the Virgin)
It’s another of our Best Moments of 2016. Jane may have gotten accidentally inseminated and given birth to a child, but she still hadn’t had sex. And then she married Michael, and it seemed their wedding night would change that — except that Michael got shot. Luckily, he survived, but his recovery delayed the deflowering further. But finally, finally, finally, they did the deed, and … it was just OK. But practice makes perfect, so cue another clever cartoon, with plenty of wink-wink imagery. Luke and Misty (Luke Cage)
Whenever Luke Cage is around, things tend to get a little steamy. Harlem’s hero for hire had a memorable bedroom encounter with Jessica Jones during that show’s first season, and in the first episode of his solo series, he and New York cop Misty Knight enjoy an apartment-rattling one night stand. No question about it: Luke’s bringing sexy back to the Marvel Universe in a big way. —EA

Claire and Jamie (Outlander)
Season 1 was full of bodice-ripping, bare butts, and baby-making, but things had been pretty darn quiet on the bedroom front in Season 2, thanks to Jamie being rendered impotent after being raped, tortured, and mentally broken by Black Jack. Things finally came to a head when Jamie came home from the brothel with teeth marks on his thigh, and an epic row ensued. Jamie finally opened up about not feeling like a man and went to sleep it off on the couch. As makeup sex is the best sex, Claire later appeared in the doorway wearing only a robe and bathed in beautiful blue light, climbed atop her soulmate, and challenged him. “Come find me, Jamie. Find us,” she purred, and, bam, Clamie was back in business. —Carrie Bell
