The Von Erichs: Signing With A Major Promotion ‘Is Coming Soon’

The Von Erichs claim that they are close to joining a major wrestling promotion.

Ross and Marshall Von Erich are the latest in a long line of superstars from the iconic wrestling family. The Von Erich family is the subject of the hit movie The Iron Claw, although the young pair are still to make a name for themselves in the world of wrestling.

They have appeared in promotions such as MLW and AEW. However, they have yet to be snapped up to a full-time deal by one of the top wrestling companies. That seems to be about to change.

The pair recently debuted the new “The Von Erichs Podcast“, where they discussed their future [via F4WOnline). Marshall revealed that they had the chance to have a trout with the WWE. However, he noted that it wasn’t the right time, and they did not sign with the wrestling giants.

He then said that they have been in talks with some companies, and that something big is “coming soon” for the Von Erichs. It is likely they are referring to the duo signing with either WWE or AEW.

“Ross and I, in the beginning, we had an opportunity to go to WWE to do a tryout. We both didn’t feel like it was time because once you go, you’re showing this is the best of what we have to offer. We didn’t feel like we were at our best yet.”

“Right now, we feel like we’re polished and ready and could go wrestle anywhere. I feel like it’s coming, it’s coming soon and so this is like the calm before the storm. We’ve been in conversations with both companies and stuff. So we’re just seeing where it goes. But it feels like the calm before a storm because I’ve got a feeling it’s coming soon. It’s coming soon. I’d love to talk on it more but there’s some stuff I can’t really talk about yet.”
