9:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘The Voice’!” In episode 3, blind auditions continued. Joining Team Reba were Ashley Bryant and Asher Havon. Joining Team Chance were Kamalei Kawa and Corey Curtis. Joining Team Dan + Shay were Frank Garcia and Madison Curbelo. Joining Team Legend were Bryan Olesen, Jackie Romeo and Rivers Grayson. Let’s continue the blinds!

9:02 p.m. – The night kicked off with Chance and Dan + Shay turning their chairs for Anya True‘s version of “Until I Found You.” Shay called it a “flawless performance” and likened her to Olivia Rodrigo. He also said that the imperfections in her voice made it stronger. Chance said her voice is “amazing” and told her that he’d “lean in” to her influences as her potential coach. Reba didn’t have any critiques for Anya, but told her that it just “wasn’t what [she’s] looking for.” John said that knowing she’s 17 informs what he was concerned about with her voice and why he didn’t turn around. Dan + Shay were really pumped for Anya to come to their team and when she picked them it could have been because of their overwhelming excitement for her.

9:10 p.m. – The next artist was 16 year old William Alexander, a first-generation Indian American that has long been supported by his parents who constantly put him in talent shows growing up. William managed to earn the support of both Reba and Chance with “ceilings.” Dan acknowledged that his performance “got exponentially better” as it went on. Chance said that there’s no one that sounds like him and highlighted his tone as a standout. Reba was touched by William dedicating the song to his grandfather and so she was able to connect to him emotionally. He decided to follow his “gut” and chose to join Team Reba.

9:20 p.m. – Self-described “cat lady” Alyssa Crosby took the stage next with her rendition of “Hand in My Pocket.” Throughout the performance Carson was hoping that Reba would hit her button for Alyssa, but it took until the final moments of the song for her to make that decision. In the end, Reba was the only coach to turn so it was an autofill for Team Reba. John noted that Alyssa has a “nice roundness” to her voice, but Dan thought it was “pitchy in spots.” Reba was pleased that Alyssa would be on her team because she has “a great voice.”

9:32 p.m. – Coming to the show from Orlando by way of Los Angeles, Rletto was inspired to become a pop singer by listening to his grandma sing throughout his childhood. He identifies himself as an artist as a mix between The Weeknd and Doja Cat. Chance was the first coach to hit his button for the audition to “golden hour” and was later challenged by Reba. She said that she liked his runs and vocals, calling it a “wonderful performance.” John admitted to being “right on the brink” of turning his chair, but thinks he needs “more tightening.” Chance called his runs “intentional” and says he never lost control of the song. Rletto believed that Chance would be his strongest path forward so he joined his team.

9:38 p.m. – Chance was also able to get Bri Fletcher in a single chair turn audition of “I’m with You.” He said that he can tell she’s “poised to show” her talent in the competition and even if she was pitchy, her “belt range” can be amazing.

8:43 p.m. – With a guitarist father and a singing mother and owners of a music store, Rob Cole grew up surrounded by music, but didn’t get into singing until the end of high school. He wasn’t able to impress any of the coaches with his version of “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right” though. Chance said he has a “studio voice,” but he wanted something else for his team. John said there’s a “welcoming vibe” in his tone and Reba apologized that she already has three male country vocalists on her team and that’s why she didn’t turn.

8:54 p.m. – The final audition of the night came from 22 year old Venezuelan singer Mafe with “Besame Mucho.” Chance was the first coach to turn in what became only the fifth four chair turn of the season so far. Chance called her vocal talent “extreme” and asked to be able to give her a platform to “show who [she is].” Reba said her vocal touched her “heart and soul” and wants to help her reach the audience on an emotional level. John called her “so tasteful” and “magical” because she sang “with feeling and emotion.” He also pointed out how many Spanish language artists he’s worked with in his own career. Shay said he could understand the meaning of the song through her emotion despite not understanding the Spanish lyrics. At this point, Chance said that he really wants her to choose him, but he honestly feels like she would benefit most from being on John’s team. Following Chance’s advice, Mafe became the newest addition to Team “Leyenda.”
