8:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘The Voice’!” In episode 21, the Top 9 semifinalists were revealed. Mac Royals (Team Legend), Bias (Team Gwen), Ruby Leigh (Team Reba), Mara Justine (Team Niall), Lila Forde (Team Legend), Huntley (Team Niall), Nina Iris (Team Niall) and Jacquie Roar (Team Reba) were voted through. Next, Jordan Rainer (Team Reba) won the instant save, eliminating AZÁN (Team Legend), Tanner Massey (Team Gwen) and Kara Tenae (Team Gwen). Let’s see who brings down the house in the semi-finals!

8:01 p.m. – This week’s show is dedicated to the audience with the artists performing songs chosen by their fans in “Fan Week.” In addition to their solo performance, each artist will also perform a second time in a trio from the catalogue of Taylor Swift.

8:02 p.m. – The first performance of the night came from Ruby with the fan-chosen song “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver. John referred to Ruby as authentic and consistent, specifically referring to the “high chest notes” she hit tonight. Reba called the performance a “get it goin’ quick” show from Ruby and said that she took all the notes they discussed in rehearsal and nailed them.

8:11 p.m. – For the first trio, Mac, Lila and Huntley received “exile,” the Taylor song that she sang with Bon Iver on the “Folklore” album.

8:16 p.m. – Next up was Gwen’s only remaining artist, Bias, with the song his fans picked for him, “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts. Niall called it the “most mature” performance of his and noted his “levels of consistency” as “through the roof.” Gwen agreed with Niall, adding that she’s excited he’s still on his team and reiterated that she sees him as a character and that’s the appeal he has to his audience.

8:27 p.m. – Jacquie’s fans decided to have her sing the inspirational Sia song “Alive,” but with the Chris Daughtry version in order to fit her style more closely. John acknowledged that it was a challenging song, but Jacquie “knocked it out of the park” because the low part of her voice was “powerful.” Reba called her the “complete package” and is “so proud” of Jacquie.

8:39 p.m. – Team Reba was back on stage with last week’s Instant Save winner Jordan taking on Blake Shelton‘s “Ol’ Red.” Gwen called it “such a trip” because she didn’t think it was a song a female would ever do, but she loved it and called it her favorite performance from Jordan so far. Reba said that she did the song and the state of Oklahoma proud with that performance and for handling it “like a pro.”

8:50 p.m. – The next trio was Nini, Jacquie and Mara with “Don’t Blame Me” from Taylor’s “Reputation” era.

9:00 p.m. – Huntley returned to the stage for his solo performance to the KALEO song “Way Down We Go.” John said he’s “seeing the vision” of who Huntley is as an artist and called him a “flawless vocalist.” Niall referred to him as “Mr. Consistent” and thinks tonight’s performance is the “world you belong in” because it was the perfect song for him to do at this point in the competition.

9:11 p.m. – Niall appreciated the fan choice of Chris Stapleton‘s “Parachute” for Mara because it’s a chance for her to be really dynamic. John was excited because he said Mara hit notes he’s never heard her hit before and he appreciates that she’s shown different sides of herself as an artist with each passing week. Niall noted Mara’s confidence and called his performance “unbelievable.”

9:22 p.m. – The last trio to perform was Ruby, Bias and Jordan taking on Taylor’s version of her hit song “Mean.”

9:30 p.m. – Mac’s task for “Fan Week” was to perform “Love T.K.O.” by Teddy Pendergrass. Reba said that Mac has “soared” through his journey on the show from blind audition to now. John emphasized once again that Mac is already a “mega star” and urged him to continue to embrace the fans and the role he’s had on the show as the last remaining R&B singer.

9:40 p.m. – When Nini took the stage it was to perform the Billie Eilish Oscar winner “No Time to Die.” Gwen was “blown away” by Nini’s ability to sing in such a “tasteful” way. She said that watching the performance felt like watching a film. Niall said that her ability to flip songs in order to make it her own is her greatest gift as an artist.

9:53 p.m. – The night’s closing act was Lila with the fan-chosen song “River” by Joni Mitchell. Reba was teary eyed telling Lila that she touched her heart and that she’s “so good” because she sings with her heart. John concluded that Lila “stopped the show again” because she had so much “wisdom, musicality and beauty.”
