Tonight on “The Voice,” the voting results from the Top 12 Live Performances are revealed. Eight artists are voted through and the remaining four perform for the instant save. The stakes are high, as only nine artists can continue on to the live semi-final.

The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the show’s newest season, which premiered September 25 on NBC. The show’s innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.

9:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘The Voice’!” In episode 20, the top 12 artists perform live for the first time in front of coaches Niall Horan, John Legend, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. Viewers had the chance to vote for their favorite artist overnight. Who will be eliminated? And which nine artists will advance to next week’s semi-finals? Let’s find out!

9:01 p.m. – The night started with Gwen taking the stage to perform her 2023 single “True Babe.”

9:05 p.m. – To deliver the first set of results, Carson Daly brought the top 12 artists on to the stage. Bias acknowledged that it was an honor to sing a Johnny Cash song and Mara gave Niall credit as a coach for his calming presence. The first three artists declared safe based on America’s vote were: Mac Royals from Team Legend, Bias from Team Gwen, and Ruby Leigh from Team Reba.

9:11 p.m. – Huntley told Carson that the validation he’s received from the show has confirmed for him that he’s meant to be on stage. Kara gave a shout out to her parents for the support and sacrifices they’ve made for her throughout her career. The next two artists to earn safety based on the overnight vote were: Mara Justine from Team Niall and Lila Forde from Team Legend.

9:20 p.m. – Taking the stage for her first time as a coach, Reba performed her new single “Seven Minutes in Heaven.”

9:24 p.m. – Jordan told Reba that the most important thing she taught her is to stay curious and driven. Nina provided her gratitude for being able to perform on the show and have an audience. The final artists saved by America’s vote were: Huntley and Nini Iris from Team Niall as well as Jacquie Roar from Team Reba.

9:33 p.m. – Singing for the Instant Save, Jordan Rainer performed “Blame It on Your Heart,” AZÁN went with “No Tears Left to Cry,” Tanner Massey chose “More Than Words,” and Kara Tenae closed with “Love Takes Time.”

9:55 p.m. – While the voting window closed down, the four artists in danger and their coaches gave each other final well wishes in case it was their last moments on the show. In the end, the artist that was instantly saved by America was Jordan Rainer.
