The Knockout round is officially over on The Voice as the top 20 contestants get ready for the live shows. The competition was tough and the coaches filled up the final spots on their teams Monday night.
Adam Levine added Jesse Larson to his team after a performance of “The Letter” by Joe Cocker, and he also added Mark Isaiah. Adam’s buddy Blake Shelton capped off his team with Lauren Duski and 15-year-old Aliyah Moulden. Blake’s girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, kept JChosen on her team over Brandon Royal. Gwen also had one of the tougher decisions of the night when Stephanie Rice battled Troy Ramey. Both artists put up good performances, but Gwen went with Troy.
But Stephanie isn’t going home yet, because Alicia Keys used her last steal to add Stephanie to her team. Alicia’s only battle of the night produced one of the best performances of the night when Vanessa Ferguson sang “If I Were Your Woman” by Gladys Knight and the Pips.
It’s been a fun season so far, but now we get down to business, as the top 20 fight for America’s vote in the live shows starting next week.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
