'The Voice': Kelly Clarkson hugs Blake Shelton for stealing Taylor Swift doppelgänger

"Mega-mentor" Taylor Swift may have a doppelgänger on "The Voice."

"Gracee (Shriver) is tall and blond, had red lipstick on and a guitar and a dress and cowboy boots," Swift said during the last round of Knockouts Tuesday. "I relate to that on a deep level."

Shriver, from Team Kelly Clarkson, opted to sing The Wreckers' "Leave the Pieces" because "I love breakup songs," the 16-year-old Oklahoma native said.

Swift, who is all too familiar with breakups and her hit anthems that follow, said: "Are we, like, maybe the same person? We could be related in some way. Got to do a DNA test."

Despite being a near clone of Swift, the coaches applauded Shriver for her originality.

"Vocally, it’s an original sound," Gwen Stefani said, while Blake Shelton added, "I’ve been a fan of yours from the beginning. Your voice is so unique."

And Clarkson loved the fact that the country singer is on her team, not Shelton's. "Blake is so mad that he couldn’t turn (for Shriver)," she gloated.

Shriver went head-to-head with another 16-year-old singer, Damali, who sang Demi Lovato's "Sober" in honor of a close family member who battled addiction.

"Her addiction was like watching someone be tortured through a glass, soundproof screen and you just can’t do anything about it," Damali described during rehearsals.

She channeled her personal experience into the song. "I felt like the storytelling really connected," John Legend praised. Shelton added, "I’ve heard that song before, but I’ve never really paid attention to the lyrics. I did this time and that's a testament to (you.)"

Clarkson said choosing between the singers was "the hardest decision I’ve made on this show."

"I just know it is an important moment for ya'll. I was a teenager in a competition before," she said, referring to her "American Idol" days. "I need 10 seconds with me and the Lord; I’ll be right back."

In the end, Clarkson dubbed Damali's emotional performance the winner.

But Shriver doesn't have to pen a breakup song with "The Voice" just yet, because Shelton used the last steal of the Knockouts on her.

"I had my eye on Gracee since the Blind Auditions," said Shelton, whose team was already full when Shriver auditioned.

Clarkson gave her country singing frenemy a giant bear hug: "Gracee is going to soar on Blake’s team, obviously."

The Top 20 will compete on the Live Playoffs starting Monday at 8 EST/PST on NBC.
