'Voice' Host Carson Daly Trolls Blake Shelton By Bonding With New Judge Nick Jonas

Carson Daly is beyond ecstatic for "The Voice" to gain a new judge and is making that clear by throwing subtle shade at Blake Shelton in the process.

Nick Jonas announced he's joining season 18 of the hit singing competition and he's got one cast member's full support.

Taking to social media to announce the news, Jonas shared a photo of himself and wrote, "Me thinking about joining @kellyclarkson, @johnlegend, and @blakeshelton on season 18 of @nbcthevoice. So excited to finally get to share this with you all."

Daly took to the singer's post and replied, "Welcome to the family! Finally someone I can play golf with!"

Buuuurn.

Their Bond:

Blake and Carson have an unbreakable bond.

They're the only castmates on "The Voice" who have been there since the beginning in 2011.

While they play nice together on-camera, Blake doesn't appear to be a golf enthusiastic like the host.

Fore!

Nick, on the other hand, loves to golf.

He and Carson are often seen participating in celebrity tournaments or just relaxing and hitting balls.

Looks like Blake will have to brush up on his hole in ones or watch Carson and the JoBro's relationship flourish.

Bye, Bye Gwen!

There are only four chairs on "The Voice" and Blake's girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, is out as judge once Nick Jonas makes his official appearance.

Following OG Adam Levine's departure, Gwen returned but is bowing out for season 18 due to scheduling.

The newly crowned 50-year-old singer is heading back to Las Vegas for her "Just a Girl" residency at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater in February and May 2020.
