‘The Voice,’ The Day After: Dishing About the Knockout Rounds, Week 2
The Voice Season 12’s Knockout Rounds wrapped this week, and now we know our top 20. Of course, it’s really going to be a top 24 this season, we have since learned — thanks to the return of the gimmick twist known as the controversial “Coach Comeback.”
However, since we don’t yet now which four second-chancer contestants will be brought back from the brink next week (I’m personally rooting for Johnny Gates, Sammie Zonana, and rumored returner Johnny Hayes), today my “The Day After” co-host Jeffery Austin and I are focusing on this week’s final seven Knockout pairings and our overall musings about the announced 20 semifinalists. As usual, get ready to be totally knocked out by our strong opinions.
