Tonight's episode of The Voice contained some of the highest praise for two of its youngest singers.

Ahead of Team Legend members Kaylee Shimizu and Elizabeth Evans' Battle, coach John Legend tells the duo that their performance "might be my favorite one." No pressure or anything, right? It's not unwarranted expectations though — Kaylee and Elizabeth might be young (17 and 22, respectively), but both have already impressed with big voices. Kaylee's take on The Beatles' "Golden Slumbers" during the Blinds earned her comparisons to Ariana Grande (and a four-chair turn… and a standing ovation) before she landed on Team Legend. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Evans tackled Hayley Williams' big belt with a Paramore song to earn her place on the team. But for their Battle, John has them singing Olivia Rodrigo's angsty anthem "traitor." It's easy to see why even in just rehearsals, John predicts that whoever he doesn't choose as the winner will be stolen by another coach.

Kaylee and Elizabeth close out night four of the Battles with their own version of the Rodrigo hit. The other coaches feel for John as he has to make an incredibly difficult decision. Niall Horan calls the cover "the best version of that song [he's] heard, 100 percent," and while he praises Kaylee's vocal control and range at such a young age, he also tells Elizabeth that she is someone who really stands out in this competition. She's different — her own coach loves how she infuses some quirkiness into her vocals, but also "can flat out sing, too." Reba McEntire tells Elizabeth she was "in awe" of the big notes she hit in the performance.

But John isn't about to keep quiet to keep Kaylee on his team. He tells the teen, "there are very few people on the planet that can sing with the level of ability and the level of gift that you have" — then declares, "I feel like Kaylee could win The Voice." Kaylee is heading to the Knockouts as a member of Team Legend.

And here's where John's earlier prediction comes true: just as Elizabeth offers her heartfelt thanks to John and heads off stage, Reba presses her button — she's stealing the pop/rock singer for herself. "This is my dream come true right here, girl," the Queen of Country tells Elizabeth, reminding her that she tried to get her on Team Reba back in the Blinds. Reba uses her second, and final, steal of the round to get Elizabeth's "unbelievable vocal range and power" on her team for the Knockouts, where the two Nashville girls hope to make an even bigger impression.
