'Voice' contestant 'set the bar' with amazing 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' performance

It was another night of solid performances on The Voice as the top 11 sang their hearts out. Noah Mac gave a very cool performance of “Electric Love” by BØRNS, and Addison Agen delivered a beautiful version of Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You.” But Chloe Kohanski eclipsed them all with her powerful rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”

Chloe’s former coach Miley Cyrus loved the performance and the fact that Chloe is still in the competition. “I’m so proud of you week after week. I’m so happy to see you out here shining and just being so original,” Miley told Chloe. “You represent all the original, free-spirited, freaky, do what you want, be who you are. I’m in that club.” Although Miley was a little jealous, saying, “When you were still on my team what I wanted to do next is Bonnie Tyler. This is perfect for you!”

Even though her current coach, Blake Shelton, may be a tad biased, he echoed what many people thought about Chloe’s rocking performance. “I know everybody has their different opinions about who’s the frontrunner in this competition,” Blake said. “Ladies and gentlemen, Chloe just set the bar.”

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Voice for free on Yahoo View.
