Time for fall and a gourd old time. These Coastal Bend churches host annual pumpkin patches, with a variety of pumpkins for sale, plus photo opportunities and even story times for school groups. So grab the kids and head over to pick out your jack-o-lanterns and fall décor.

St. John’s United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
This annual neighborhood pumpkin patch at St. John’s features pumpkins of all sizes for sale, field trips for area kids and school groups and free photo setups. St. John’s UMC keeps about 30% of the profits, and 70% is returned to the growers on the Navajo Nation in New Mexico.

Portland First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
FUMC Portland offers a wide array of various-sized pumpkins and gourds, along with photo-shoot opportunities and activities for the kids. Proceeds benefit the Reaching Our Neighbors Charitable Foundation.

Asbury UMC’s annual pumpkin patch is back with pumpkins and gourds for sale. And be sure to stop by the “Picture Patch,” where families can take photos with several backdrops. Storytelling for groups available by appointment.

Unitarian Universalist Church of Corpus Christi Pumpkin Patch
What: Back for the second year, Unitarian Universalist Church of Corpus Christi presents a pumpkin patch to select your best pumpkins. Capture a moment with your loved ones and strike a pose at the charming hay bale photo booth. Attendants will be on hand to assist with purchases and answer any questions. Every sale contributes to UU’s mission, supporting growth in spirit and faith to inspire acts of radical inclusion, justice, and loving kindness.
