Virginia Beach Oceanfront Concert Series set to return in June
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The Oceanfront Concert Series is set to return to Virginia Beach in June.
Virginia Beach Oceanfront Concert Series announces 2023 lineup
The City of Virginia Beach, along with Beach Events and IMGoing, made the announcement on Wednesday for the return of the free concert series which brings national recording artists to perform in Virginia Beach throughout the summer.
The series kicks off on June 5 with Parmalee, known for their Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2022 ‘Take My Name’.
The schedule for the upcoming shows can be found below:
Parmalee – Wednesday, June 5 at 17th Street Park
The 502s – Wednesday, June 12 at 24th Street Park
Burning Spear – Wednesday, June 19 at 17th Street Park
Flipturn – Wednesday, July 10 at 24th Street Park
St. Paul & The Broken Bones – Wednesday, July 17 at 17th Street Park
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong – Wednesday, July 24 at 24th Street Park
Jefferson Starship – Wednesday, July 31 at 17th Street Park
Iam Tongi – Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 17th Street Park
Five For Fighting – Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 24th Street Park
Digable Planets – Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 17th Street Park
Guster – Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 24th Street Park
All shows will start at 7 p.m.
