Viral gymnast Katelyn Ohashi opens up about body shaming, burnout and internet fame

You’ve probably already watched Katelyn Ohashi‘s viral floor routine. In January, the 21-year-old athlete’s tumbling captured the world’s attention not just for her flawless flips and splits, but her infectious energy as well. However, the UCLA gymnast hasn’t always been happiness personified. At the 2019 MAKERS conference, Ohashi speaks with Dyllan McGee, founder and executive producer, MAKERS, about burnout, bouncing back and internet fame after scoring a perfect 10 (for the sixth time in her career!). Tune in at 5:30 p.m. PST to watch — and stick around for a special performance from the play What the Constitution Means to Me (debuting on Broadway Mar. 14th), which the New Yorker is calling the “number one play of the year.”
