Viola Davis enjoyed a special family moment during Paris Fashion Week.

On Sunday, the actress, 58, walked the Le Défilé L'Oréal - Walk Your Worth show at the Eiffel Tower, bringing a few special guests on stage with her. Davis was photographed walking hand in hand with husband Julius Tennon and later posed with daughter Genesis, 13.

In the sweet family snap, Tennon stands on one side of the couple's daughter, who wears a teal dress adorned with feathers. Davis stands on the other side of the teen, putting an arm around Genesis and smiling for the camera.

Davis and Tennon have been together for over two decades, meeting on the set of the CBS series City of Angels in 1999. In 2011, the couple welcomed Genesis via adoption.

Last week, the star shared an adorable set of photos of her daughter in honor of National Daughter's Day. Davis' post included photos of the mother-daughter duo over the years — including baby photos — with the caption, "My daughter is my heart. ❤️#HappyNationalDaughterDay."

Discussing her decision to adopt her daughter, Davis told PEOPLE in 2017, "I wanted my life to mean and be something deeper. That's when the urge came, and the urge was just very, very, very, strong. So I have a kid now, and she is just the light of our lives."

In December 2020, Davis shared her daughter's dreams of being a movie star like her. "She does want to be an actress," she told Ellen DeGeneres. "She says, 'Mommy, I know how to live the words. I know how to breathe the words. I know how to remember the words.' And I said, 'Well, you gotta remember how to go to school and at 18, you need to remember how to get out of the house and pay your own bills.'"

Genesis made her big screen debut in The Angry Birds Movie 2 in 2019, voicing hatchling Vivi. Gal Gadot's daughter Alma Versano and Nicole Kidman's daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith, played similar roles.

"Well, I would randomly be like, 'Oh, I have to go to this event with my mom,' and then I would pause and be like, 'Hold up, wait a second, it's about me!' " Genesis told Variety about her first red carpet, which she attended with both of her parents. "And I got excited!"
