Vin Diesel's Bloodshot getting early digital release due to coronavirus outbreak
Vin Diesel's Bloodshot only just hit cinemas, but you're about to be able to enjoy it from the comfort of your own home while we're all stuck indoors.
Sony Pictures has announced that the film will be released digitally on March 24 in the US, in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement to Deadline, Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment's Motion Picture Group, said: "Sony Pictures is firmly committed to theatrical exhibition and we support windowing.
"This is a unique and exceedingly rare circumstance where theaters have been required to close nationwide for the greater good and Bloodshot is abruptly unavailable in any medium.
"Audiences will now have the chance to own Bloodshot right away and see it at home, where we are all spending more time. We are confident that – like other businesses hit hard by the virus – movie theaters will bounce back strongly, and we will be there to support them."
Deadline adds that Bloodshot's international digital sale release date is expected to be solidified soon with territory-specific COVID-19 impact considerations.
The coronavirus epidemic has caused the temporary shutdown of UK cinema chains and forced a number of TV shows and movies to suspend production too.
