"What was I missing? I missed something?" Behar joked. "What did I miss, exactly? Was there some kind of orgasm I was supposed to have?"

The sun wasn't the only thing that was blocked during the 2024 solar eclipse: The View star Joy Behar joked that the interstellar event also might've impeded her earthly pleasure, too.

As the 81-year-old welcomed ABC meteorologist Ginger Zee to the Hot Topics table, she probed into the April 8 eclipse that captured the world's attention — but only, as she admitted, because it didn't capture hers at the time.

"We want to ask you about the solar eclipse, which we had two weeks ago. I missed it, I was at home watching Netflix," Behar said. "I'm not interested. I'm very unpoetic. It looked cloudy out. What am I going to look at?"

The comedian then highlighted Zee's reporting from the eclipse's path of totality, which fascinated Behar in the moment, as the weather woman indicated she had a strong emotional response in the field.

"You were reporting on it live from Illinois, correct?" Behar asked. "I was reading that you were very emotional about it. So, what was I missing? I missed something. What did I miss, exactly? Was there some kind of orgasm I was supposed to have?"

Behar's cohost, Alyssa Farah Griffin, briefly put her hand to her head and exclaimed, "Oh, God" in response to Behar's joke, before Zee replied in jest. "Essentially, yes! Four full minutes. Can you imagine? You missed that! Tough to recreate."

The longtime cohost's quip came on the show's final (pre-recorded) episode before its upcoming spring break, which will see the panelists taking a week off from the program. Last year at this time, Behar's seasonal vacation took her to Europe, where she hilariously encountered a rude Italian woman she said she called a "bitch" after the lady wouldn't let her pee in a first-class lounge on a train.
