Sara Haines would like to enjoy The View without the added horror of allegedly-planted publicity involving Taylor Swift, thank you very much!

Haines joined executive producer Brian Teta on Monday's installment of the Behind the Table podcast to reveal that the colleagues were earlier "having a disagreement" about which current events to discuss at the table during the day's telecast — which led to Haines being "upset" with Teta over his "annoying" insistence that the ladies dissect Swift's supposed romance with NFL star Travis Kelce after the pop superstar was spotted Sunday at the Kansas City Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium.

"I can usually find something, but I'll let you know when I don't care. This is a PR stunt, this whole thing, and I'm just not that interested in it, because it feels like you're giving air to a publicity stunt," Haines told Teta. "She does not need more expensive concert tickets that are hard to get. Like, she's good. We're good."

Teta quickly responded by telling her she had "an opinion that would've been interesting to hear on television," though Haines doubled down.

"The Swifties are as bad as the Beyhive. They come for you if you even allude to them," the 46-year-old said of the singer's fanbase. "I don't like to put negative energy out there, I don't care who she dates, but it's not because I'm a bad person."

A representative for Swift did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

She went on to say that moderator Whoopi Goldberg and fellow panelists Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin also didn't want to discuss Swift's love life on the main show, but that conservative cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin did.

"Moral of the story is everyone doesn't always agree, and I made the decision not to do the topic because several of you felt this way, but I felt there's a public interest," Teta concluded. "You have an opinion, it might not be an opinion that people agree with, it might not be the most positive opinion in the world, but that's okay, you do you."

Instead, The View put on one of its wildest episodes of the year, which included Haines attempting to morph into a penis, Hostin positing the theory that gay people can identify each other through scent, and Minnie Mouse locking Goldberg inside a wind tunnel of chaos.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/PT on ABC.
