The View just shook the Hot Topics table in a big way after its cohosts expressed — wait for it — sympathy for far-right politician Lauren Boebert amid her divorce.

Joy Behar introduced a discussion on the right-wing congresswoman's finalized divorce after 17 years of marriage to husband Jayson Boebert with a quip about a recent scandal that saw the U.S. Rep. ousted from a Denver Beetlejuice theater production after she was caught on camera vaping and seemingly fondling (and being fondled by) the male attendee seated next to her.

"She's the one to reach across the aisle, if you want my opinion," the 81-year-old, traditionally liberal-leaning comedian joked, adding that Boebert is now "divorced from him and reality now."

Republican panelist Ana Navarro then shocked the audience by expressing compassion for Boebert amid the end of the politician's marriage.

"I was with my ex for 15 years, and I never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but, I related to Lauren Boebert here. Somebody please bring me two aspirin, I'm going to lay down," Navarro said. "I think, once it's finally over and signed with, you have that sense of closure, but you also have other emotions. It's bittersweet, there's nostalgia, there's 15, 17 years of lived experiences, there's children, there's so much that you had together, and I think you do have these feelings. Once the legal aspect is over, those things kind of come out."

Legal expert Sunny Hostin, who typically criticizes conservative policies, agreed.

"I think that she's not someone I believe in politically, but 18 years of marriage is a really long time. That's a life built together and a lot of chapters," Hostin said, before referencing reports that the former couple were still getting physical with each other despite their separation. "I don't want to celebrate the demise of anyone's marriage, and, if he's grabbing her butt, which is what he was doing, after their divorce, more power to them."

Behar brought the discussion full circle, though, and sent the show to commercial with a final dig at Boebert.

"Well, I heard that Beetlejuice is going on the road, so there's plenty to do," she said with a laugh.
