'The View' Co-Hosts Are Reportedly Not Talking To Meghan McCain Off-Air

While it's no secret that Meghan McCain has different political views that her "The View" co-hosts, it seems their on-air spats have carried over into their off-air personal relationships. According to a report in Page Six, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, and Abby Huntsman have no contact with McCain outside of what viewers see on the show.

"They aren't speaking to each other. It's been about a month. None of the ladies talk to Meghan now," the source alleges. The insider said that her relationship with the other conservative on the panel, Huntsman, has also gone south.

"Abby was the last woman standing. It's bad. Meghan’s so rude," the source said. "Abby tolerates Meghan, but she doesn't genuinely like her. Their friendship has soured."

PopCulture.com details of an ugly on-air disagreement between the two that happened on Tuesday's episode.

Viewers got an up close look at that souring relationship during Tuesday's broadcast, when a discussion on former national security adviser John Bolton's statement that he is willing to testify in the impeachment proceedings led to a tense back-and-forth.

"I think he ultimately has a conscience," Huntsman said. "He's someone that I think would be speaking [about] what he thinks is right, not what politically he believes or doesn't believe."

"The idea that he went home and grew a conscience … Maybe I've been in politics too long," McCain responded.

"Well, I've also been in politics. [It's] my upbringing too, and a lot of people have been around politics or know politics, whether you have family or not…This show is about opinions," Huntsman shot back.

A petition on Change.org to have McCain replaced with another host has picked up stream recently, drawing nearly 8,000 signatures.

"The View on ABC please replace Meghan McCain with Ana Navarro or bring Jedidiah Bila back.

Catherine Iyoha-Idiong started this petition to The View and 1 otherAnyone who like me has watched The View for years and has seen the sourness and immaturity that Meghan has brought to the show doesn't need much persuasion. Let's get her OFF our favorite morning show and back to Faux News where she can safely keep discussing Obama possibly faking tears with onions after little children were murdered at school," the petition reads.

Despite the arguments, Goldberg has been quick to assure viewers that they still are friends and they simply "fight like family."
