'The View's Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Giffin

The View made magic happen for one young cancer patient this week—and let's just say many tears were shed.

Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Haines were visibly emotional during the Thursday, May 2 broadcast of the ABC daytime talk show, after giving 15-year-old Mya Lamarche the dream come true of a lifetime.

Mya, and her mother Tanya Lamarche, were featured as special guests on Thursday's episode, during which the co-hosts detailed the teen's difficult health journey since being diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), a disease that causes brain and spinal tumors. According to her mom, Mya has undergone over 80 rounds of chemotherapy throughout her life and will receive her fourth brain surgery soon.

Goldberg, 68, and Haines, 46, helped make one of Mya's biggest wishes come true during the episode after asking the teen about her favorite celebrity icon, Descendants star Sofia Carson.

"I love Sofia Carson because she teaches me every day to be happy. I watch her videos, her morning routines, and I find that, no matter what the day brings her, she's always happy," Mya said before Goldberg revealed that in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mya's biggest dream was about to become a reality.

That's when Sofia came out from backstage, prompting Mya—who was visibly overjoyed—to run up and give her a big hug. The two stayed hugging for a minute while Mya's mom welled up with tears over the sweet moment.

Not only did Mya's mom, Sara and Sofia get emotional, but even Whoopi seemed to get choked up while trying to continue with the interview. At one point, the Sister Act star even had to reach over to help her co-host dry her tears.

"Your wish is one of the greatest honors of my life," Sofia told Mya. "And you are my hero. And everyone here's hero."

Sofia also had one more surprise in store for Mya, revealing the arrangements to get Mya's measurements so Disney could make the teenager her very own Evie costume just like the one Sofia's character wears in the film.

The news made Mya throw her hands up out of joy, making the wholesome moment even sweeter.
