After seven years as a co-host on The View, Sherri Shepherd knows that a spat among talent on a panel talk show is not necessarily unusual. However, the recent drama revolving around Sharon Osbourne, a co-host on The Talk, "crosses the line," Shepherd recently told Yahoo Entertainment.

Osbourne has come under fire both for defending Piers Morgan's criticism of Meghan Markle and subsequently for militantly arguing with her co-host, Sheryl Underwood. Specifically, Osbourne telling Underwood, "don't try and cry, 'cause if anyone should be crying, it should be me" has generated controversy.

"I think nobody's been talking about Sheryl Underwood and what she's had to go through," Shepherd said. "She had to speak in very slow and measured terms ... and I think it was a trigger for a lot of women who have to be in this situation of someone treating you like you're less than."
