Video Premiere: Journey to 'Avrakedabra' With Reggae Greats Morgan Heritage
In the wake of their historical Grammy win for Best Reggae Album as the Producer and Artist for “Strictly Roots,” which was released under their own independent label CTBC Music Group, Morgan Heritage has managed yet again to deliver another classic album, Avrakedabra. They achieved this by staying true to their formula of authentic Reggae with an effusively eclectic mix; all with the goal of keeping Reggae music relevant in a continuously evolving world of music.
The untraditional creation of this album included recording sessions taking place across three different continents. The band documented this in a two-part series, and Yahoo Music is pleased to premiere the second part of the story exclusively (see the first part below).
“We believe the new album will resonate with audiences globally simply because of the diversity in the sound and creative process that went into making it,” says the band. “Part 2 of the Journey Into Avrakedabra mini-documentary illustrates what fans should expect when they listen to the music and subsequently see us live on the Avrakedabra World Tour.
