Video Premiere: Daya Debuts Raw, Moving 'Back to Me'

Eighteen-year-old breakout musician Daya is driving pop music down a different path — well known for her singles “Sit Still, Look Pretty” and “Hide Away,” as well as her vocals prominently featured on The Chainsmokers’ No 1. hit “Don’t Let Me Down.” On April 28, she will premiere a special live concert on the AT&T Audience Network, showcasing her talent and distinct style.

Yahoo Music is excited to premiere the lilting ballad “Back to Me” from the special, which features the singer-songwriter pouring her heart out at the piano.

“Back to Me is the rawest and most vulnerable song on the album, and it’s one of my favorites to perform live,” notes Daya. “It’s about seeing a different, toxic side of someone you trusted and deciding to let them go for your own good even though the reality of it sucks and a part of you wishes you could just go back to how it was.”

“Daya” will air April 28 on AT&T AUDIENCE Network (DIRECTV Ch 239, AT&T U-Verse Ch 1114 and the new streaming service DIRECTV NOW).
