Video premiere: Bella Thorne returns to music with 'Burn So Bright' from upcoming 'Midnight Sun'

Actress and singer Bella Thorne is poised to appear in her latest project, Midnight Sun, which hits theaters March 23. The film is a romantic tearjerker about a 17-year-old girl, played by Thorne, who has been sheltered at home since childhood because of a rare genetic condition — a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight. One night, as she ventures outside to play her guitar, and captures the attention of a special boy she has secretly watched from her bedroom window for years. As the two get to know each other after dark, questions arise about how to maintain a normal relationship given the limitations of her condition.

Thorne not only portrays a guitar-playing girl in the movie; she contributes original music to the score as well — a real treat for fans who have been wanting to hear more of her musical side since she released her EP Jersey in 2014. Yahoo Entertainment is excited to exclusively premiere the video for “Burn So Bright,” which features glimpses from Midnight Sun as well.

Midnight Sun also stars Patrick Schwarzenegger, Quinn Shephard, Ken Tremblett, Suleka Mathew, and Rob Riggle.
