Victoria Monét Terminates Team Member For Liking Post About JT, GloRilla Feud From Her Page

Victoria Monét hopped on X to explain why she had to get rid of a team member for liking a post from her official X account regarding JT and GloRilla’s recent online exchange. Monét’s explanation came after critics began accusing her of taking sides in the heated feud between the two rappers.

On Friday (April 5), the Grammy-winning “On My Mama” singer/songwriter expressed that she wasn’t aware that the CMG rapper and City Girl were having a debacle — let alone would she ever condone Black women going head-to-head online.

“[It’s] really irritating because I have no problem with either of them,” she started in the video. “I don’t f**k with Black women beefing online. I love my Black women. I support my Black women. I only uplift them.”

She continued explaining, “I dont know if a lot of you have seen, but on Twitter (now X) there’s a retweet about JT’s mugshot that I didn’t do. I have an entire team logged into my accounts to make tweets and posts for me when I’m busy. I’m in rehearsals for Coachella right now.”

She further detailed that she was pulled out of rehearsal to be told that someone on her social media team “pressed some buttons that they shouldn’t have f**king pressed,” from her page while thinking they were on their own account.

In conclusion she noted, “the person who did it is…FIRED!”

The post Monét mentions is one that came about as JT and GloRilla addressed their alleged beef stemming from a rumor that the CMG rapper slapped the City Girl over ignoring her at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The two got into it on X after Glo dropped a new mixtape titled Ehhthang Ehhthang where she mentions JT on “Aite.”

“I just pray one day the bad bi**hes would come together/ ’Cause Cardi and Nicki on a track would break some f**kin’ records/ Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin’/ Know bi**hes always havin’ [animosity] that they keep a secret,” Glo raps.

After trading a few more insults, GloRilla claimed that she did hit JT with a purse. In response to it all, JT posted a photo of all of her mugshots, with a ninth one “pending” — implying that she might have to catch another case.
