As A.I. continues to become accessible in various forms, more and more people are taking advantage of the technology — including DJ Austin Millz and GRAMMY-nominated singer, Victoria Monét.

As part of Meta’s brand campaign “It’s Your World” — which serves as a call-to-action for “the next generation to pave their path on their own terms” — Millz recently guided Monét to play the piano infront of an audience, using Meta Quest 3 mixed-reality. The two sat before a keyboard during the Listening Sonic Party at Miami Art Week, as the songstress discovered her newfound skill.

“You guys follow along,” Monét told the crowd as she used the headset to play her hit single “On My Mama.” “Sorry, I’m messing it up for you,” she chuckled while pressing the keys.

Speaking to working with Monét, the “Feeling Good” viral sensation said, “It was such a cool experience. She’s such a talented singer-songwriter and I heard she always wanted to learn how to play piano, so just being there helping her with PianoVision was one step closer to her childhood dreams.”

He added, “It was really cool to see her play her song in real time. When you are just a talented artist, it just comes naturally. We were just vibing out.”

Millz, who’s championed for effortlessly fusing Hip-Hop and Dance music, joined the campaign upon the release of the latest gadgets: the Quest 3 headset and Ray-Ban Smart Glasses. Lately, the technology brand has been investing more into artists and emerging creatives, with aim to “help advance their authentic expression, inspire creativity, and create their own worlds.”

Aside from the producer, DJ and artist, — who became interested in learning how to use A.I. during the pandemic — partners have also included KidSuper, Coi Leray, Leiomy Maldonado and more.

The “mixed-reality” headset, which retails for $499.99, “enables a spectrum of immersive experiences,” as the Ray-Ban Smart Glasses ($299) allow you to livestream to Facebook or Instagram straight from your eyes. Users can also snap photos and videos from a unique POV.
