After the soccer legend, 48, received a fully stocked chicken coop for Christmas, his wife, Victoria Beckham, spotted him catching up on the dos and don’ts of raising the birds when she snapped a candid photo of him flipping through a book titled Keeping Chickens for Dummies on social media Friday.

“Just a little Friday night reading for @davidbeckham,” the fashion designer captioned the shot, which she shared on her Instagram Story.

Victoria previously gave the former soccer pro the chickens as a gift for Christmas.

The Spice Girls musician debuted the “Beckham chickens” on Instagram last week, sharing a video of David getting to know the birds.

"Merry Christmas,” she stated in the clip, before asking: “What did you get for Christmas, David?”

"I got some chickens and a cockerel,” David, who could be seen sprinkling seeds while wearing a festive Santa hat, replied.

Victoria then zoomed in on the retired athlete and his farmyard flock peeking out of a large wooden coop.

From behind her camera lens, the designer dubbed the fowl “Beckham chickens” and observed that they were “a bit camera shy.”

“What do you get @davidbeckham for Christmas?? 🔉on 🐔,” Victoria joked in her caption.

Though the chickens mark the family’s first feathery — not furry — friends, the Beckhams are longtime dog lovers who have always welcomed pets into their clan with open arms, especially on holidays.

Last year, the family — which includes kids Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12 — welcomed a new pet bunny, Coco, on Easter Sunday, which was also Victoria's 48th birthday.

David even split a carrot with the pet Lady and the Tramp-style in one clip, which he captioned, "Happy Easter weekend from the Beckham's & Coco."
