Vic Mensa Says R. Kelly 'Needs to Be Locked Away Forever'

Vic Mensa just released his new album The Autobiography. During a new interview with TMZ, he was asked about another Chicagoan who’s been making headlines: R. Kelly. Mensa didn’t mince words: “Fuck R. Kelly,” he said. “R. Kelly is a scumbag and a very dirty man. He needs to be locked away forever.” There’s footage of him making those comments below. Kelly was recently the subject of a BuzzFeed article written by reporter Jim DeRogatis, which outlined allegations that Kelly is behind a “cult” where he’s manipulating and controlling the lives of six women. In a subsequent statement from his lawyer, Kelly “unequivocally denied” the accusations.
