Vic Mensa Detained By Police After Barneys Shopping Spree
Vic Mensa’s $4,000 shopping spree at Barneys on Thursday (Aug. 4), went downhill after police detained him on the suspicion of stealing. The Roc Nation signee documented the encounter on Snapchat and refused to hold back his immediate thoughts.
“This p***y a** motherf**ker over here talking about we stole some sh*t,” he said while turning his camera on the officer nearby. The There’s Alot Going On rapper didn’t stop there as he continued to air out his frustrations, which echo his thoughts on police brutality that he has openly shared in the media and throughout his music.
“You can’t be a young black man out here doing anything legal, positive, and you still get treated like a criminal. We don’t really have to steal sh*t man, we could buy nicer sh*t than you buy for your wife for her right now.”
