Of course, Elly was a little skeptical of the backpack at first, but thankfully it features three zip openings (one on the front and two on the sides) that make it easy to get her in and out without casualties. The zippers even have buckles for added security, which is a must for cats with claws.
I wanted Elly’s first experience with the backpack to be a positive one, so rather than waiting to use it for her next vet appointment, I loaded her up and took her on a walk through a local state park. Since she adores being outside, this was a rewarding experience for her, and she’s loved the cat backpack ever since. In fact, she loves it so much that it has become her favorite place to sleep throughout the day.

I’ve had my cat backpack for almost two years, and after regular walks, vet visits, and traveling, it still looks brand new (minus the cat hair). I recently adopted a second cat, Willis, and to my surprise, he loves the cat backpack just as much as Elly.
