The feature follows a group of orphans who head south in search of a new life after viral outbreak that ravages the country’s adult population, only to find themselves in danger.

“I’ve been very fortunate to work with some incredible people early in my acting career, and this is no different,” said Davis. “I’m beyond excited to be part of Destry’s directorial debut, as well as the opportunity to share the screen with such a talented and inspirational cast.”

Davis retired from football during a Super Bowl commercial in 2020, and has since filmed more than 30 projects with the likes of John Malkovich, Bruce Willis, Luke Wilson, Thomas Mann, and Rosa Salazar.

This summer, he played a serial killer opposite Academy Award-winner Morgan Freeman and Cole Houser (Yellowstone) in The Ritual Killer. He’s also founded two production firms, Reel 85 and Between the Linez Productions.

Davis is represented by UTA and managed by Henry Penzi.
