The Venice Film Festival — set to be the first major international film event to take place amid the coronavirus pandemic — has unveiled a rich roster of films playing in competition, all from prominent auteurs spanning the globe. The films include Mona Fastvold, Susanna Nicchiarelli, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Amos Gitai and Atom Egoyan, among many others.
