A Venetian boat company has banned Kanye West and his partner, Bianca Censori, after images surfaced last week of the two in a compromising position in the back of a water taxi.

In a statement to the Independent, a spokesperson for Venezia Turismo Motascafi, a water taxi company based in the Italian city, said that West and Censori “will certainly no longer be welcome on board our company’s boats.”

“We completely dissociate ourselves from such acts and behaviour,” the statement read.

West, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, and Censori were photographed last week in what appeared to be a sex act on the back of the boat, with Censori kneeling in front of West and West’s naked rear end visible in some of the photos.

The images went viral, prompting many commenters to chide the rapper and Censori for engaging in such acts in public in a traditionally conservative Catholic country.

In the statement, the spokesperson for the boat company noted that the driver had not been aware of the “obscenities” on board because he was too busy navigating boat traffic. Had he been aware, the spokesperson said, he would have “immediately disembarked and reported the transgressors to those in authority.”

The statement also noted that an unnamed “third person” was also in the taxi at the time, “who obstructed the captain’s view to the stern,” thereby making him unaware of what was going on in the back.

West, 46, was first seen in public with Censori, 28, an architectural designer who works for his company Yeezy, earlier this year, with the two being spotted dining at the Waldorf Astoria in January. Later that month, TMZ reported that Censori and West had wed in a non-legally binding ceremony, just a few months after his divorce from ex Kim Kardashian was finalized.

West’s romance with Censori comes on the tail end of him receiving intense backlash for making violently anti-Semitic remarks in public last year, including tweeting that he planned to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE” in October 2022 and making remarks about the “Jewish underground media mafia” controlling Hollywood on Chris Cuomo’s show in October 2022.

He doubled down on these remarks in an appearance on far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’s TV show in December 2022, claiming that he saw “good things” about Hitler. Such comments led to him being suspended from various social media platforms multiple times and to Gap, Balenciaga, and Adidas severing ties with him.

Rolling Stone has reached out to Venezia Turismo Motascafi and West for comment.
