Baby V is having her first baby!

That’s right, Vanessa Hudgens is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Cole Tucker, three months after tying the knot. The style icon and High School Musical alum revealed the news by making a fashion statement.

On Sunday, Hudgens walked the 96th Academy Awards red carpet while showing off her baby bump in a floor-length black turtleneck dress. Coverage from ABC's The Oscars Red Carpet Show saw the actress thanking those who offered congratulations.

On Dec. 2, 2023 Hudgens exchanged vows with Tucker, a professional baseball player, in Tulum, Mexico. In the days leading up to their secret wedding, the duo were photographed snapping beach photos with Hudgens in a white dress. They later detailed the specifics of their “magical” day in an exclusive interview with Vogue.

“It was genuinely the most magical weekend of my life,” Hudgens told the outlet. “I am so grateful that we got to have a private wedding, and it helped that I took everyone’s phones away. It was amazing because at the dinner, I would look around and everyone was talking to each other—our family and friend groups coming together and creating real relationships that I know they’re going to invest real time into. Seeing that and bringing everyone together and celebrating us, it was just so magical.”

She added, “Literally talking about it right now, I’m getting teary-eyed. I couldn’t have dreamt it to be any better. I knew it was going to be magical, but it exceeded my expectations.”

Hudgens and Tucker originally ignited dating rumors in November of 2020, when they were spotted getting cozy in a Los Angeles restaurant. They went Instagram official several months later.
