Vanessa Hudgens' birthday tribute to Austin Butler shows they're more in love than ever
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have separated, but there's another Disney Channel star whose years-long relationship is still going strong. Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have been dating for eight years, and her latest Instagram post shows how solid their relationship still is.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂🎁🎈🎉 to my love, my other half, my constant Inspiration and supporter. My best friend. My everything✨ @austinbutler ✨28 is going to be 🔥🔥🔥," Hudgens captioned a photo of the two of them.
Hudgens and Butler reportedly met on the High School Musical set, but they didn't start dating until 2012.
Over the past eight years, the couple hasn’t been shy about sharing their feelings for each other, both in public displays of affection and in sweet posts like this one.
Last month, Hudgens shared an Instagram post about Butler's casting in an upcoming Elvis Presley biopic. "SO PROUD OF MY HONEYYYYY!!!," Hudgens captioned a screenshot from a Deadline report about the casting news.
The happy couple also enjoyed spending time together on vacation recently and Hudgens was quick to put those adorable pix on her account too.
Butler, meanwhile, posts on Instagram less often than his sweetheart. That said, his Instagram account also includes plenty of loving details about their relationship. The actor has posted a number of red carpet photos of the two of them over the years, as well as more artsy shots like this one.
It's not much of a surprise that both actors' Instagram comments frequently include messages from fans asking when they'll get engaged or married — but these two are taking their relationship at their own pace, and it seems to be working out perfectly.
