Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler Under Investigation for Allegedly Defacing a Precious Rock in Arizona
It looks like Vanessa Hudgens might be in trouble following her Valentine’s Day celebration.
The Grease Live star spent the romantic holiday in Sedona, Arizona, with her boyfriend of over four years, Austin Butler, and shared a series of photos on Instagram from their desert getaway, including one that turned out to be rather controversial. The pic in question showed the couples’ names inside a heart that was etched into a red rock. “Happy Valentine’s Day boo boo bears,” Vanessa captioned the snap.
Hudgens, 27, and Butler, 24, reportedly took the photograph in the Coconino National Forest and The Insider With Yahoo confirmed that the couple is under investigation. “Officials at the Coconino National Forest became aware of the incident yesterday when the media alerted them of the situation,” a public affairs officer for the park told The Insider With Yahoo. “There is no deadline for this investigation — it takes as long as it takes.” As of Tuesday afternoon, Vanessa had removed the photo from her page.
The Insider With Yahoo has reached out to the star’s rep for comment but has yet to receive a response.
