Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale Play Dress Up — and Boogie Down — at Shenae Grimes’s Halloween-Themed Birthday Bash

Gabriella and Sharpay forever! That’s all we can think when we see Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, who have remained BFFs in a post-High School Musical world, hanging out like they were over the weekend at a costume party.

The besties were guests at Shenae Grimes-Beech’s Halloween-themed birthday bash on Saturday night. While their costumes weren’t that clever (Ashley was a cat while Vanessa was a gypsy/herself), they made up for it by being cute together and taking us back to the aughts.

Ashley captioned this photo of them “soul sisters” and we believe it. They have been besties since their Disney days. So close, in fact, that they may have been wearing the same lipstick:

Soul sisters.

They can dance — in their seats! — like the best of ’em:

Here they are with the guest of honor, whom Tisdale co-starred with in the 2008 TV movie Picture This:

Hudgens, who we’re sure will go all out with her costume this weekend on Halloween (she’s kinda obsessed with the holiday), shared a similar black-and-white shot:

And finally, a group pic of most of the party people (minus Tis) at Grimes-Beech’s bash:

It’s possible we’ll get to see Vashley (Ashessa?) on the small screen together once again as Gabriella and Sharpay. It was announced that a High School Musical 4 is in the works. While it will feature a new cast, some of the originals are expected to return to “give closure to the characters and their storylines.”

Getting paid to hang out with your BFF? Priceless.
