Vanessa Bryant finds ‘Sex and the City’ dress Kobe gifted her: 'You set the bar so high'
Vanessa Bryant is sharing a special gift from her late husband Kobe Bryant.
In an Instagram post Monday, the mother of four shared a side-by-side photo of a dress and a photo of "Sex and the City" character Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wearing the same dress.
On the photo she writes, "I love you my baby @kobebryant. I found this beautiful dress Kob gifted me a long time ago."
She continued, "Not going to lie, I was taken back with emotion. He was SO romantic. Still showing me he ❤️'s me from Heaven. Love you forever boo-boo."
The dress is worn by Bradshaw during the series finale of the popular romantic comedy-drama television series. Vanessa explained more about the dress in the post's caption.
"When Mr. Big gets Carrie back. Paris," she wrote, explaining the scene in which the dress appears. "Missing my boo-boo and my sweet girl. So nice to have found this dress today. You set the bar so high baby. No love like REAL LOVE."
Her followers were clearly feeling the love as well. The post garnered more than 703,000 likes and more than 6,800 comments.
Kim Kardashian West took to the comment section to write, "Wow!!!! This is so special!"
This isn't the only sweet gift the basketball legend, who died in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26 alongside the couple’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna, gave to Vanessa.
In June, Rachel McAdams spoke to "Access Hollywood" about Kobe buying Vanessa a dress from the actress' 2004 romance movie "The Notebook."
"He came to the premiere of 'Sherlock Holmes' and I got to meet him and he said, 'You know, I bought your dress' and I didn't know what he meant at first," McAdams recounted. "And then he said, 'I bought your dress from 'The Notebook' for my wife.' "
She continued, "I was blown away. I didn't realize he was such a movie fan. … I was very touched by that at the time."
