Once Lala got sober, she was able to mend her friendships with the other cast members of the show. She is now also able to think about her career more and really dive into it like she couldn't when she was drinking.

Kent really is being noticed now and getting more serious about her career as she was seen at the SAG Awards sitting next to big A-list celebrity, Meryl Streep. Fans had a lot to say about seeing her sitting there next to Streep.

Just last year, 50 Cent and Lala Kent were in a feud together when 50 Cent accused Kent of being addicted to drugs. Kent said in response to 50 on Instagram, "My sobriety is something I’m proud of and work on every day. I’ve never done cocaine nor were any other substances, other than alcohol, involved in my decision to get sober.”

She continued, “I pride myself on being open and honest about everything in my life, hopefully inspiring others and letting them know they are not alone."

Lala Kent also said, "The past couple of days I’ve been slammed, to say the very least. People have asked me how I’m maintaining keeping my head up. To me it’s simple — I know real life from the [illusion] of social media."

Kent says her life completely changed the moment she found out about the passing of her father. She said, "I know what it feels like to have your world crumble. Getting a phone call from your brother saying your dad has passed away… that is Earth-shattering. Being called names and being falsely accused of things, that is far from Earth-shattering."

Kent wanted to share how she felt about cyberbullying in an effort to try to help others who may be experiencing the same thing she did. She said that she wants those who are experiencing it to know that they are not alone. She wants people who suffer from cyberbullying to stay strong and get the help they need. She also wants those who are dealing with it to know they are loved and do make a difference in the world.
