Fans of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules flocked to West Hollywood on Wednesday. Just yards away from Sur, the restaurant that spawned the long-standing Bravo series, cast members Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix now have an eatery to call their own.

The long-awaited sandwich shop, called Something About Her, officially opened mid-morning on a cloudy Wednesday, May 22, with a large crowd eagerly gathered outside. The cozy shop is hard to miss with a yellow-and-white striped awning acting as a beacon for eager fans of the duo.

By 10:30 a.m., around the time the doors opened, the line for the shop looped up and down a nearby courtyard before continuing out onto the sidewalk, with some fans waiting almost four hours before making it to the front. Despite the line, the prospective customers seemed to be in good spirits, chatting with one another as they waited for their chance to try the shop’s offerings.

Shortly after opening, Madix and Maloney popped out to surprise fans, diligently greeting guests and smiling for selfies. Some fans wore Something About Her merch while others could be overheard telling the women that they were their “favorite” from the reality show. The line eventually had to be shut down due to lack of availability, but the co-owners came back out to meet and snap photos with those who didn’t make it inside.

In addition to the warm welcome from Madix and Maloney, Something About Her staff was also readily available to help fans at the grand opening. At least one staff member, rocking a Something About Her T-shirt, walked up and down the line offering cups of water to those waiting.

The main menu features nine sandwich creations, most around $15, along with two classic sandwiches — an $8 peanut butter and jelly and an $11 grilled cheese. The creations appear to honor notable leading ladies with names like “The Meg,” “The Reese” and “The Viola.”

To accompany the food, Something About Her has several drink options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Keeping it in the Bravo family, the sandwich shop also offers two Loverboy drinks — a low-sugar to zero-sugar alcoholic beverage line started by Summer House stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula.

Something About Her, located on North Robertson Boulevard, is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
