With vibrant restaurants — many sprinkled with a romantic ambiance — there may be no better place than Palm Beach to dine out on Valentine’s Day.
Just consider the options: They range from a private oceanfront cabana dinner to multicourse meals with dishes sprinkled with gold leaf.
You can even opt for a Gilded Age-style tea service complete with roses and special keepsake chocolates.
Of course, there are many other ways to dine out in Palm Beach on Feb. 14, from three-course menus to steak or lobster feasts for two people to share.
Here are 16 ways to dine out on Valentine’s Day on the island.
Café L'Europe, 331 S. County Road
With resident pianist David Crohan playing romantic tunes on Feb. 14, Café L’Europe will feature an extravagant dinner special for $84: angel-hair pasta accented by premium Osetra sturgeon caviar and basil crème fraiche — and gold leaf on top.
While the restaurant’s regular a la carte menu will offer an abbreviated dessert section with such choices as crepes Suzette ($22), a special Valentine’s dessert-for-two ($40) will include chocolate souffle, chocolate-covered strawberries, hot chocolate with whipped cream, chocolate crinkle cookies and chocolate petit fours.
A complimentary glass of Pommery Champagne and a heart-shaped balloon will be offered to guests. Women will receive a rose.

Flagler Steakhouse, 2 S. County Road
On the second floor of The Breakers’ golf and tennis clubhouse across the street from the main hotel, Flagler Steakhouse, a contemporary take on a classic American chophouse, will offer a special three-course, prix-fixe dinner menu on Valentine’s Day.
Sit inside the dining room with decor by Tihany Design or outside on the golf course-view terrace.
Look for both steak and seafood items on the prix-fixe menu ($195 a person). A specialty cocktail called Cupid’s Arrow ($22) — with Nolet’s Gin, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, raspberry rosé puree, vanilla-bean simple syrup and egg whites, all topped with sparkling wine — will be featured.

Sip on this: In addition to the prix-fixe menu offered at the resort’s Flagler Steakhouse, The Breakers will feature specialty Valentine’s cocktails ($22 each) at some of its other dining outlets in the main hotel or offsite.
For instance, at Echo, an Asian restaurant at 230 Sunrise Ave., a cocktail called Cupid’s 75 will be offered with gin, St. Germain, lemon and cherry-blossom syrup and topped with Champagne.
At Henry’s, 229 Royal Poinciana Way, look for Cupid’s Crush with Rebel 100, pomegranate juice, lemon, simple syrup and ginger beer.
Make Me Blush at The Breakers’ onsite HMF will include muddled raspberries, Tito's Vodka, Chambord, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg whites.

PB Catch, 251 Sunrise Ave.
Lobster for two people to share is among the daily specials planned on Valentine’s Day at PB Catch, which also will serve its a la carte menu.
Specials are set to include Cupid’s Salad ($19) with mixed greens, strawberry-Champagne vinaigrette, strawberries, roasted pine nuts and Gorgonzola, and house-made lobster bisque ($21).
Lobster-loving couples won’t want to miss lobster for two to share ($130). The feast includes a three-pound Maine lobster with drawn butter.
Other Valentine’s specials at PB Catch: surf and turf ($95), including beef tenderloin and Maine lobster tail, plus "truffled" mashed potatoes and glazed baby heirloom carrots.

Among the most extravagant ways for couple to enjoy dinner on Valentine’s Day? Dining in a private cabana, complete with a view of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach offers just that.
In ocean-facing cabanas on the resort’s pool terrace, couples who splurge on this private Valentine’s dining option will be treated to a four-course dinner menu — with a glass of Champagne — presented by a dedicated server.
The resort’s executice chef Jose Gamez and his team prepare the multicourse cabana dinners, which are $620 per person.

In addition to the private cabana dinners, the Four Seasons also is featuring a special three-course Valentine’s Day dinner in its signature restaurant, Florie’s, which is in partnership with renowned Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco.
The three-course menu ($215 a person) has not been finalized quite yet, but Florie’s chef de cuisine Nino La Spina and his team have no doubt planned special dishes. Guests can sit inside or along an ocean-facing terrace.

Among the many Valentine’s Day dining options in Palm Beach is treating an amour to a dinner conceived with the imprimatur of a beloved internationally renowned chef.
One place to do that? Café Boulud, the brainchild of famed chef-restaurateur Daniel Boulud.
The French-American restaurant, home to executive chef Deiter Samijn, will feature a three-course meal for $224 a person, including petit fours to take home.
The evening starts with canapes, such as black-truffle arancini (rice balls); then, a selection of appetizers including watermelon gazpacho, shrimp salad and beef tartare.
Crab linguini, black-truffle and morel-mushroom risotto, striped bass, roasted cod and a beef duo are among the entrée choices.
For dessert, look for a brownie with salted caramel and raspberry sorbet; and a dacquoise with gianduja cremeux and mandarin sorbet.

Restaurant 44, Palm Beach Towers, 44 Cocoanut Row
Restaurant 44, open to the public even though it's in a condominium building, will feature a special three-course dinner menu for $145 a person. Roses will be given to couples.
Guests will have a choice of appetizers, such as steak tartare and falafel with a julienne salad, feta and tahini. Savory dishes are by executive chef Sam Norwood.
Grilled veal chop with creamy morel demi-glace; lobster thermidor; and wild-mushroom risotto with roasted baby vegetables and cipollini onions are the entrée selections.
For dessert, look for strawberry mousse with pistachio cake served with berry coulis and garnished with candied pistachios.

To help spark romance, Cucina is offering such dinner options as sumptuous feasts for two people to share.
For instance, a Moroccan lamb feast for two people is $75 and includes harissa, hummus, house-made pita, olive tapenade, salsa verde, confit tomatoes, spices, pistachio and fresh pomegranate.
Couples can also opt for a 40-ounce Australian Wagyu beef tomahawk or ribeye-steak dinner for two (market price).
Lobster croquettes ($45) and a variety of oysters also are among Valentine’s Day specials at Cucina, where seating is both indoors and outside along a covered sidewalk-side terrace.

Le Bilboquet Palm Beach, 245 Worth Ave., Via Encantada
The indoor-outdoor French bistro in the courtyard of Via Encantada has planned a three-course dinner menu for Valentine’s Day.
Guests can choose from among various appetizer and entrée selections before they’re served assorted macarons and petite fours for dessert.
The three-course menu ($150 a person) offers such appetizers as Wagyu steak and egg with Siberian caviar; tuna paillard with seared foie gras; and sunchoke salad with black-truffle stracciatella.
Halibut confit, wild-mushroom pot au feu, Long Island duck Magret and the restaurant’s popular Cajun chicken are the entrée choices.
A DJ will provide musical entertainment; women will be given a long-stem rose.

A four-course prix-fixe menu ($169 a person) will be featured at French bistro La Goulue, where guests can sit in the dining room — replete with banquettes, bistro tables, frosted glass, Majorelle chandeliers and fin-de-siècle wood paneling — or along the sidewalk.
After an amuse-bouche of deviled quail egg, guests can choose from such appetizers as warm goat-cheese salad; roasted oysters on the half shall with sautéed spinach and Champagne sabayon; and duck confit spring rolls with pomegranate dipping sauce.
Roasted Chilean seabass, skate fish filet, seared rabbit loin and roast veal chop with porcini mushroom sauce are among the entrée selections.

Along with its regular a la carte menu, Swifty’s, with its popular poolside seating, will offer a la carte dinner specials by executive chef Tom Whitaker.
The Valentine’s scene will include live music. Each diner will receive a complimentary glass of Champagne and finish the meal with a chocolate-covered strawberry.
Specials are set to include such appetizers as a warm tomato-and-ricotta tart with basil, balsamic, frisée and arugula ($26).
Maine lobster-and-shrimp open-face lasagna ($68) and surf-and-turf ($92) with filet mignon and seared U8 diver scallop are among the entrée selections.

Carnivore couples might be tempted to order one of the restaurant’s steaks, including the biggest ranging in size from 16 to 32 ounces, but consider some of the Valentine’s specials.
Among them: a “Hearts on Fire” cocktail ($16, with vanilla vodka, grenadine, Griffard Cacao, Tempus Fugit Creme Noyaux, lemon juice and Charles Lafitte sparkling wine), and a caviar-topped “Passion” sushi roll ($45) featuring tuna, cucumber and truffle paste.
All Valentine’s Day dinner guests at Meat Market will be given complimentary chocolates.

With a menu specializing in dishes inspired by the cuisines of countries on the 41st parallel, Lola 41 is featuring Valentine’s Day dishes that are “perfect for sharing.”
Small plates will include a lobster special with avocado, cucumber, lime, tomato and coconut water ($45) and flounder crudo with ginger-soy, Thai chili and shiso ($45).
Grilled hanger steak with shrimp escabeche ($58) is the entrée special.
To finish the evening, mocha brownie a la mode ($15) is a choice. Two special cocktails will be featured for $20 each: “Love” with vanilla vodka, blood orange, coconut, lemon, and a pink sugar rim and "Lust," with Mezcal, blood orange, Thai chili, lime, agave, and a citrus chili rim.

Railcar 91 Tea Room, Flagler Museum, 1 Whitehall Way
Valentine’s Day dining has become a tradition at the Flagler Museum, where its Railcar 91 Tea Room, formerly known as Café des Beaux-Arts, annually serves a special tea service on Feb. 14.
Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass expanse of the Flagler-Kenan Pavilion, every table at the Railcar 91 Tea Room has a view of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Tea service includes savory tea sandwiches, pastries and sweets and the museum’s Whitehall Blend Tea.
On Valentine’s Day, each couple also will take home a long-stemmed rose and a boxed custom-cameo Whitehall chocolate from Peterbrooke Chocolatier.
Tickets, including museum admission and gratuity, are $76 per person, and $50 for museum members.

Among the Valentine’s Day dining experiences at Eau, look for special prix-fixe menus at the Manalapan resort’s Angle restaurant and its oceanfront Polpo restaurant.
Angle’s four-course menus ($125 a person) offers such selections as white-asparagus bisque and a surf-and-turf with espresso-rubbed bison filet and broiled Maine lobster tail.
Antipasto and a Champagne toast start the experience at Polpo, where a three-course menu is $95 a person.
Look for such Valentine’s entrée choices as short-rib ravioli, branzino fillet and gnocchi Genovese.
