Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy pose with son Rome on Christmas

Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson are celebrating their first Christmas as parents!

The professional dancers shared a sweet phot of their family of three, which included 11-month-old son Rome, as they celebrated Christmas together. Posing in front of the Christmas tree, Jenna and Val hold Rome up, smiling for a sweet picture on Instagram.

Jenna also included photos with Val's brother Maks Chmerkovskiy, his wife Peta Murgatroyd and their sons Shai, 6, and Rio, 6 months, as well as Jenna's entire family.

"My favorite Christmas yet 🎄Not only was this Rome’s first Christmas (which made today so magical) but I was also able to spend the day with both my families. I know that this won’t always be able to happen, so I’m soaking in these moments and memories shared ♥️," Jenna began her caption.

"Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope you had a beautiful day. And a HUGE thank you to @pendryparkcity for setting up our rooms to feel just like home. You guys have made us truly feel like family here."

This isn't the first big celebration Chmerkovskiy and Johnson have had this month. Earlier in December, Chmerkovskiy won Dancing with the Stars with his partner Xochitl Gomez, 17, taking home the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

Before Chmerkovskiy won, Johnson posted a sweet photo of her son Rome cheering on his dad as he proudly held onto his Mirrorball trophy from season 20 of Dancing with the Stars.

The dancer also captured a shot of her son nestled between her Mirrorball from Dancing with the Stars: Athletes and Chmerkovskiy's trophy.

"'Vote for my daddy tonight on #dwts 🪩,'" Johnson wrote in her caption.

After this season's trophy made it's way home, Johnson shared another photo of Rome and the trophy, this time next to his dad.

In the pictures, Chmerkovskiy had one hand on his newest Mirrorball trophy and the other on his infant son, smiling for the camera. Rome reached for the shiny trophy, becoming entranced by the disco ball's lights in the sun in the last photo.

"'Dad said we’re putting this in my room!' -Rome," Johnson joked in her caption.

Back in July, the new mom opened up about navigating their different parenting styles when asked in an Instagram Q&A if she and Chmerkovskiy have "different belief systems" and how they handle it.

"Yes!!! Being completely transparent, at first, it was very hard to navigate because we grew up completely different and in very different cultures," Johnson shared.

"I think we had to face the fact that we needed to have open and honest communication constantly so neither of us was offended or hurt by the other if we didn't see eye to eye on something. But!!! Now it is one of my favorite aspects about our relationship, that we are able to experience such a cultured life together and learn about one another's upbringing," she continued.

Johnson then explained that Rome "will have such a unique experience growing up with Russian-speaking grandparents in New York and Christian grandparents in Utah!"

"Life is beautiful to be able to experience it all. My biggest advice to anyone in a similar position ... don't shy away from it! Face it head on and have the hard conversations!! They are worth it!!" she concluded.
