Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson Celebrate Thanksgiving with Son Rome: 'This Family of Mine'

The couple celebrated the holiday with family and "Dancing with the Stars" pros

Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy are having a great first Thanksgiving as a family of three.

The Dancing with the Stars pro, 37, and the new mom, 29, spent the holiday with son Rome, 10 months and their family. Johnson posted a collection of photos on her Instagram story, including a picture of Val rubbing noses with Rome and a photo of their extended family.

"SO THANKFUL FOR THIS FAMILY OF MINE," Jenna captioned her story's last photo with a white heart.

The couple also attended Thanksgiving dinner with Dancing with the Stars cast members and their families, including Alfonso Ribeiro, Brandon Armstrong and Emma Slater. Slater also took a video of Val and Rome, which Val reposted on his Instagram story.

"this is so cute 🥰🥰," commented Ariana Madix on Slater's post.

In July, the family of three visited Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy to meet the newest member of the family, now 5-month-old Rio John. Peta and Maks also share son Shai, 6.

Johnson shared scenes from the trip on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, writing, "Flew to LA to meet our precious new nephew Rio."

The dancing pro and new mom shared a photo where she held the newborn and later, one where she lay him next to her own son, Rome.

"Rome & Rio," she captioned the shot.

The extended family got together for a group photo as well, writing, "Got to see my @petamurgatroyd 🥹."

"I've missed her so much and so happy to see her thriving as a mommy to another beautiful baby boy 💙," she added.

Speaking with PEOPLE in May, the Dancing with the Stars pros and brothers opened up about how wonderful it's been to see both of their wives flourish as mothers.

"It's been incredible to watch Jenna and Peta mother, and it's been incredible to see that we are also in good hands, as husbands," Maks said.

"Every day I see my wife as the mother that she is to our son has been the most beautiful I've ever seen her, and the most attracted I've ever been to her," said Val. "So, it's been very special."
