Usher is showing his love to one of hip-hop’s greatest.

During his My Way Las Vegas Residency last Friday, the R&B icon, 45, took a moment to shout out Dr. Dre, who was in the audience. Audience members captured the thoughtful moment in which the performer came over to the rapper/record producer, 58.

Fans captured Usher paying tribute to the music mogul. “He is an amazing contributor to this music industry,” the hip-hop star said while standing in the middle of the crowd at Park MGM’s Dolby Live indoor amphitheater. “For all the artists he has broken, as well as the amazing artist that he is, ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for the one, the only Dr. Dre.”

The Grammy winner (whose real name is Andre Romell Young) looked honored as he got up from his seat to thank the cheering crowd with a salute before walking over and embracing the “Yeah!” artist with a hug.

“Yo, Dre! I’m giving you your flowers tonight, my man,” the hitmaker said before playing a medley of some of the music industry veteran’s biggest hits.

Usher filled the amphitheater with songs like Dr. Dre’s own “Still D.R.E” and his Eminem-assisted “Forgot about Dre,” as well as several of his iconic collaborations with Snoop Dogg, “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” Ain’t No Fun (If The Homies Can’t Have None)’

As the tracks played, the “OMG” singer danced along to the beat and even stood on top of the bench Dre was sitting on, grooving to the music.
